Clay roofing tiles have been crafted by man for hundreds of years. Very popular in Europe and Asia, these top quality roofing products have been available in the United States since the Europeans started settling here. Diverse in styles and shapes, clay tile is not only available in the well known Spanish profile, but also in slab and slate styles as well.

There are several clay tile manufacturers in North America. Some quality clay tiles are even imported from factories in Europe and the Far East. Kansas City is located in one of the harshest environments for roofing materials in North America. With over 30 freeze thaw cycles on average per year, roofing materials have to withstand some pretty extreme conditions. Moisture absorption is the arch enemy of roofing materials. If these products are too porous, they will absorb water and upon freezing will crack and fail.

We at PCI Tile only install premium clay tile roofing products. The clay and concrete tile roofing products we utilize have to meet the tough roofing guidelines for the Midwestern United States. We will only install ICC approved products.
